Weighing 23.5 kg, the Suzuki DF5A is a true featherweight. Its low weight makes transport and storage easy, as well as installation and removal from the boat. The presence of two handles located on the sides of the grille increases the maneuverability with which the outboard can be carried: in this way, the grip is firmer and prevents the engine from slipping.

In addition to its weight, the compact design also contributes to making the outboard extremely maneuverable. Together with the lubrication and fuel systems it is equipped with, it allows the outboard to be positioned in three different positions and eliminates concerns about the available storage space.

Thanks to the wide steering angle, which can be turned 90° to the left and 90° to the right, for a total of 180°, any type of maneuver can be performed with ease. The stiffness of the throttle and steering can be adjusted and adapted according to the driver’s needs, ensuring always comfortable navigation.
