The Suzuki DF300BMD belongs to the GEKI series, which in Japanese identifies a force capable of harmonizing the power of nature and the sea. This represents Suzuki’s identity and genetic heritage: a symbol of our passion and our commitment to driving nautical innovation beyond boundaries.
The DF300BMD pistons are processed with a special procedure called “shot peening,” where the heads, after casting, are substantially bombarded with metallic pellets. This creates small indentations designed to homogenize the pressure generated by combustion across the entire surface, improving performance and preserving the piston’s integrity over time.
This outboard offers higher power and lower weight, with more efficient fuel consumption and improved reliability. In addition to featuring integrated steering as a novelty, the new V6 DF350MD has a displacement of 4.4 liters, making it the largest-displacement V6 on the current market.
The DF300BMD also features a fuel water detection system: a filter detector alerts the user with visual and audible alarms if water is present in the gasoline. This prevents issues such as poor combustion, reduced power availability, and corrosion.
