The Suzuki DF20AR has a very low weight, under 50 kg, making it easy to transport without much effort. It is the lightest outboard in its class, even in the configuration with an electric tilt system.
The aluminum surface of the DF20AR is treated with a special anti-corrosion coating to protect it from corrosive agents such as seawater and increase its durability. While operating the outboard, the engine temperature is kept constant thanks to a heat exchanger that prevents overheating. An LED light also reminds the user when maintenance is needed.
In its class, the DF20AR is the world’s first outboard engine with electronic fuel injection without battery assistance. It has nothing to envy from traditional injection systems, as engineers have optimized this system to deliver faster starts, smoother performance, and greater acceleration in every situation.
