The Suzuki DF15AE is compact and lightweight, weighing 45 kg in the manual start version and 49 kg in the electronic version. It is the lightest outboard in its class, even when configured with an electric tilt system.
The special anti-corrosion treatment applied to the aluminum surface increases the DF15AE’s durability, protecting its parts from corrosive agents such as seawater.
The DF15AE holds a first in its category: it is the world’s first outboard engine with electronic fuel injection without battery assistance. Every component, from the injectors to the throttle body, has been designed to be as compact and lightweight as possible while delivering the same performance as a battery-powered system.
