The DF100C is a mechanically controlled outboard with a modern, aerodynamic design, capable of blending seamlessly with the lines of any boat on which it is installed. The redesigned grille features an air intake system that improves airflow and the separation of atomized water.
Suzuki engineers have also worked on the 16-valve, 2045 cc DOHC powerhead—the beating heart of this model—modifying the compression ratio (increased to 10.6:1) to improve fuel efficiency and combustion, resulting in enhanced acceleration and top speed.
The tilt limit system prevents damage to the boat or engine caused by excessive outboard movement. The system integrates both tilt and trim limit functions, using continuous movement without preset steps, allowing this engine to be installed on virtually any type of boat.
